Robert Prosinečki appointed head coach of the Kyrgyzstan national football team

Robert Prosinečki has become the new head coach of the Kyrgyzstan national football team, as officially announced by the country's Football Union.

The contract was signed today, December 10, in the presence of Kamchybek Tashiev, the chairman of the KFS, and Prosinečki himself. The agreement stipulates that he will hold this position for one year and one month. If the national team performs successfully at the 2027 Asian Cup, the contract may be extended for three years.

Kamchybek Tashiev expressed confidence that with the arrival of the new head coach, significant positive changes will occur in the national team.

Robert Prosinečki is a well-known Croatian footballer who played for clubs such as "Barcelona," "Real," and "Red Star." After finishing his playing career, he began his coaching career, managing various clubs and national teams in Azerbaijan, Bosnia, and Montenegro.
