The national team of Kyrgyzstan may be headed by a famous footballer from Croatia


On November 8, a working meeting took place at the Kyrgyz Football Union with a delegation from Croatia, led by Robert Prosinečki, a well-known football player and coach in Europe. The press service of the KFU reports that the organization was represented in the negotiations by First Vice President Nurdin Bukuev, General Secretary Mederbek Sydykov, and Technical Director Dainis Kazakevich. The Croatian delegation included Štefan Dovina, Franjo Herceg, Brane Golubić, Gordan Ciprić, and Zoran Terzić.

The main focus of the meeting was on issues related to cooperation in the development of the national team of Kyrgyzstan, training coaches, exchanging experiences, and implementing joint football projects.

The appointment of a new head coach for the national team of Kyrgyzstan was also discussed, and the Croatian side presented its proposals and vision on this matter.

The meeting was held in a constructive manner and became an important step in strengthening the international ties of the KFU with European football organizations.

Robert Prosinečki is one of the most famous football players from Croatia, who, after finishing his career, began coaching, working with clubs and national teams in Azerbaijan, Bosnia, and Montenegro.
