The contract of head coach Alexander Krestinin with the Tajik club "Khujand" has come to an end, and both parties have decided not to extend it. In September, the coach had already attempted to resign, but the club's management refused to accept it.

The season has been challenging for "Khujand": the team maintained fifth place in the Tajikistan championship despite injuries, changes in the squad, and overall instability.

Alexander Krestinin, a well-known Russian coach, previously led the Kyrgyz national team, achieving success at the Asian Cup and winning titles with the club "Dordoi." He confirmed that he is currently seeking new opportunities for collaboration.

Since 2018, "Khujand" has already changed eight head coaches, highlighting the team's stability issues and remaining an important task for the club ahead of the new season.
