In the first match of the Futsal Asian Cup, which is taking place in Indonesia, the Kyrgyzstan team faced Iraqi opponents and suffered a defeat.

The match, held on January 27, marked the start for the Kyrgyz team in the group stage of the tournament.

Already in the 53rd second of the game, the Kyrgyz team took the lead: after a throw-in, Kairat Kubanychov made a cross, and Doner Amanbaev successfully redirected the ball into the net, making the score 1:0.

Despite subsequent chances, the Kyrgyz players were unable to extend their advantage.

In the middle of the first half, an incident occurred: goalkeeper Bekbolot Akmataliev, leaving the goal, attempted to make a play, but the ball was intercepted by an opponent. In an effort to prevent danger, he handled the ball in the center of the field, which led to his ejection after receiving a red card.

The Iraqis quickly took advantage of their numerical superiority and equalized just 50 seconds later — 1:1.

After the ejection, the Kyrgyz team lacked organization, and towards the end of the first half, the Iraqi team managed to score another goal, finishing the first half with a 2:1 lead.

In the second half, the Kyrgyz players came out with a renewed mindset. In the 26th minute, Kubanychov not only assisted but also scored a goal with a long-range shot — 2:2.

However, the Iraqi team did not delay in responding and took the lead again, scoring their third goal against Ulan Chorobek uulu — 3:2.

In the final part of the match, Makhamadinov substituted the goalkeeper and, two minutes before the end of the match, took a shot on goal, but the ball hit the crossbar.

In the last minute, the Iraqi team capitalized on a mistake by the Kyrgyz players and made the score final — 4:2 in their favor.

In the next match, which will take place on January 29, the Kyrgyzstan national team will face Indonesia.
