Kyrgyz boxer Umar Orusbaev has earned himself a place in the final of the Youth World Boxing Cup taking place in Montenegro.

The competition "Pearl of the Adriatic" began on March 4 in Budva, where 10 sets of medals are being contested for young athletes aged 19 and under.

Orusbaev competes in the under 60 kg category, which includes 16 boxers.

He started his journey from the 1/8 finals and achieved three consecutive victories over opponents from Estonia, Ukraine, and Sweden, which allowed him to advance to the decisive stage of the tournament.

The final match will take place on March 11, where Umar will face a boxer from Kazakhstan.

The bouts will start at 21:00 Bishkek time.
