Omar Livaza reached the final of the World Championship

The athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Omar Livaza, has reached the final stage of the World Boxing Championship taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

Livaza competes in the category up to 63.5 kg and began his performance from the Round of 16.

In his first match, he won against an Uzbek boxer, and in the Round of 8, he managed to defeat a representative from Armenia. In the semifinal match, the Kyrgyzstani faced a boxer from Azerbaijan and won the bout by unanimous decision.

On the night of December 12, Livaza fought against the tournament's top seed from Zambia. After three rounds of 3 minutes, the judges declared him the winner.

Now, Omar Livaza has reached the final, where he will compete for the gold medal on December 13. His opponent is currently unknown.
