The Kyrgyzstan national football team has faced an unpleasant piece of news: two players will not be able to participate in the upcoming match against Equatorial Guinea.

This friendly match will take place today, March 25, in Antalya (Turkey), and will start at 20:00 Bishkek time.

Midfielder Gulzhigit Alykulov from Dynamo Minsk suffered a back injury before flying to Turkey and will not be able to help his team.

Additionally, forward Ernist Batyrkanov from Dordoi sustained a hamstring injury during the Kyrgyzstan championship match against the Asia team (1:3), after which he was substituted at halftime.

"In this regard, it was decided to keep the player at the club for further examination and treatment," reports the Kyrgyz Football Union.

It is also worth noting that forward Joel Kojo and goalkeeper Erjan Tokataev were not called up for the training camp.

"They are in the process of recovery," the KFU added.
