The Fergana club "Neftchi" became the champion of the Uzbekistan Super League-2025, winning the gold medals ahead of schedule with one round to go in the competition. The team demonstrated confident play throughout the championship and managed to outpace its competitors thanks to a strong finish.
A key role in this achievement was played by attacking midfielder Joel Kojo, who played 11 matches and scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists. His contribution was decisive for Neftchi's attacking line, especially in the crucial matches of the second round.
This is Kojo's second title in his career: in 2021, he won the Kyrgyz Premier League championship with Bishkek's "Dordoi," where he was also one of the key players and helped the team finish in first place in the standings.
