Kyrgyzstan Cardiology Sanatorium
Located in the Alamudun district of the Chui region in the village of Tash-Dyobyo, 26 km south of Bishkek, in the northern foothills of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too, at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level. Established on the basis of a recreational facility that had been in operation for many years, for the rehabilitation of patients who have suffered a myocardial infarction.
The initiator of the establishment of such a sanatorium is Academician M.M. Mirrakhimov. The sanatorium is situated in a picturesque area, with a total area of 21 hectares. It operates year-round (160 beds). A department with 30 beds is organized for rehabilitation after myocardial infarction.
The climate here is mild, characterized by low atmospheric pressure, reduced oxygen content in the air, intense solar radiation with significant ultraviolet rays, and increased air ionization. Summers are moderately warm, with an average air temperature in July of +20°C, while winters are moderately mild, with an average temperature in January of -4 to -6°C. The maximum precipitation occurs in spring and early summer.
The annual precipitation reaches 550 mm. Relative humidity fluctuates between 55-60%. The two-story building houses the medical and diagnostic base of the sanatorium. There is a functional diagnostics room equipped with modern equipment; a clinical and biochemical laboratory; a physiotherapy department; massage and dental offices. Next to the medical and diagnostic building is the hydrotherapy center.
TREATMENT
The Kyrgyzstan sanatorium has everything necessary for diagnosing diseases and subsequent treatment of patients — a functional diagnostics room, a massage department, and a physiotherapy complex. It features a famous hydrotherapy center with artificial oxygen, saline, and coniferous baths. There is a wide range of treatments available, including the Charcot shower, circular and ascending hydro-massage. A heat therapy room is also available, where paraffin therapy and mud applications are carried out.
