The suburban area of Bishkek, adjacent to the northern slopes of the Kyrgyz Range, is of the greatest interest for tourism development, where diverse landscapes, climatic and microclimatic conditions allow for the wide development of resort and skiing tourism. Ski resorts, tourist centers, and recreation bases located in the vicinity of Bishkek
All the facilities listed in the table have hotels, bars, cafeterias, and conditions for rest and entertainment.
Resort complex "Teplie Klyuchi" is located in the middle part of the Alamedin River valley. The complex is based on hot mineral springs (water temperature +53 degrees). The main attraction is a 25-meter indoor pool filled with slightly mineralized water from a natural thermal spring. In addition to the pool, the complex includes comfortable residential cabins for accommodation, a restaurant, and a parking lot.
Sanatorium "Kyrgyzstan" is located in the picturesque valley of the Ala-Archa River. Healing mud and unique treatment methods developed by Kyrgyz cardiologists allow for the successful treatment of cardiovascular diseases and blood disorders, as well as rehabilitation for patients who have suffered a heart attack.
Ski base "Chon-Tash" is located in a scenic spot in the Baytik depression. The flat plateau and snow-covered slopes of various profiles make it an excellent place for skiing and mass recreation. In the summer, the Chon-Tash base is used as a sports health center. Not far from the base is a memorial to the victims of Stalinist repressions, Ata-Beyit.
Ski center "Kashka-Suu" is located in the picturesque Kashka-Suu gorge, offering breathtaking views of the Baytik valley and nearby snow-capped peaks. Several comfortable residential houses and cabins are equipped with everything necessary for a good stay. An ice rink, sauna, and a restaurant with excellent cuisine are available for guests.
Several slopes have been equipped for skiers. There is a chairlift with a length of 1.5 km. Guests can enjoy ski equipment rentals and experienced instructors. The upper station has an observation deck offering panoramic views of the surroundings. In the summer, the center organizes hiking and horseback riding excursions.
Ski center "Oruu-Sai" is located in the beautiful Oruu-Sai area, with thickets of wild rose, barberry, wild raspberry, and juniper. From here, magnificent panoramas of the Baytik valley and the peaks of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too can be seen. "Oruu-Sai" operates year-round. Currently, there are three ski lifts of varying lengths in the Oruu-Sai area. The service package includes: transportation from Bishkek, rentals, accommodation in a hotel and cozy cabins, a restaurant, bar, sauna, conference room, gym, and instructors. In the summer, excursions, light trekking, and horseback rides to the high-altitude zone are offered.
Ski center "Norus" is located 45 km from Bishkek in a picturesque area. Several slopes of varying difficulty and length have been equipped for skiing, taking into account both trained athletes and beginner skiers. After reconstruction, "Norus" has become a true center for skiing and recreation. Guests have access to: 2 ski lifts, rental services, a hotel, restaurant, bars, a conference hall, and experienced instructors.
