The Orlovka Ski Resort is located just 100 kilometers from Bishkek along the Bishkek – Issyk-Kul highway. The journey takes about two hours. Orlovka was established by a group of enthusiasts in 1984.

Winter Season

Winter is not a time to lounge in warmth. Winter is a time for adventures, active recreation, and fun with friends. It’s a time to entertain, challenge yourself, and learn something new. You will find all of this at the Orlovka Ski Resort.
Just 100 kilometers from Bishkek, a true sports paradise awaits you. A multitude of groomed slopes, comfortable lifts, and developed infrastructure make your active leisure enjoyable and safe.

Lifts of varying lengths and slopes of different difficulty levels will satisfy even the most discerning skiing enthusiasts. The condition of the slopes is constantly monitored by specialists, and snow cannons operate on the slopes, allowing our guests not to depend on capricious weather conditions. No matter when you arrive during the season, you will find slopes with perfect snow coverage for skiing.

The Orlovka ski base is the only one equipped with snow cannons, so as long as the temperature is below zero, there is always snow. The Orlovka ski base features 9 slopes of varying difficulty levels and lengths. The descents range from 150 to 2890 meters with elevation drops from 30 to 560 meters. Well-groomed slopes, clean mountain air, and beautiful mountain landscapes will provide enjoyment for both professionals and amateur skiers.

The area has two chairlifts and two tow lifts. The length of the chairlift ascent ranges from 500 to 900 m with elevation drops from 110 to 350 m; the average speed of the chairlift is about 3 m/s. The length of the tow lifts ranges from 150 to 600 m, with elevation drops from 30 to 120 m, and the tow lift moves at an average speed of 2 m/s. Instructors are always present at the bottom and top of the chairlifts to assist you.

Chairlift:
1. Length of ascent 900 m. Elevation drop 350 m. Speed 3.4 m/s.
2. Length of ascent 500 m. Elevation drop 110 m. Speed 3.2 m/s.

Tow lift:
1. Length of ascent 600 m. Elevation drop 120 m. Speed 2 m/s.
2. Length of ascent 150 m. Elevation drop 30 m. Speed 2 m/s.

There is also equipment rental available at the base, so you don't need to worry if you don't have your own or if you forgot something. Specialists are always ready to assist you.

As for leisure activities, in addition to skiing, it is worth noting that the infrastructure of the base is quite developed and modern. Guests can enjoy hotel rooms, a restaurant, and a sauna.

You can come to the base for a weekend, stay for a week, or even acquire your own accommodation on the resort's territory. "Orlovka" is a comfortable oasis of serene pleasure away from civilization.

Children's School

At the Orlovka ski base, great attention is paid to teaching skiing and snowboarding for children and adults. To facilitate learning, special structures have been created, such as a children's sports school and a unified instructor-coaching service.

The children's sports school was founded in 1985. Classes are held for children from 4 years and older. Kids are selected without initial skiing skills or the ability to stand on skis independently. Training is conducted under the guidance of an experienced coach, a former professional athlete. The goal of the sports school is to teach children to ski well and technically, as well as to promote physical culture and sports. Training for children is free of charge.

The ski slope at the ski base meets all requirements for initial and technical training. The slope is equipped with a safe and convenient lift for children.

Training sessions for the children's sports school are held 2 or 3 times a week in the evening hours.

Night Skiing

There is nothing more magical than the mysterious play of shadows that can be observed in the night silence while riding the chairlift to the mountain top, illuminated by lights that illuminate the ski slopes. A clear sky filled with stars, clean air, and the crunch of snow under your skis will create a romantic atmosphere.

Summer Attraction

Resting with "Orlovka" is year-round. To avoid waiting impatiently for the cold weather, the organizers have prepared a summer attraction for their clients – a sledding track. The longest track in Kyrgyzstan at 1.5 kilometers is sure to please active recreation enthusiasts.

An exciting descent on special sleds with wheels will entertain not only adults but also children. Special brakes on the sleds allow you to control the speed, which can reach up to 70 km/h. You can choose how fast you want to go down.

The sledding track includes breathtaking turns and the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Orlovka surroundings during the descent. Whether you want to go slowly and enjoy nature or speed down the track, navigating the intricate turns – the choice is yours.

For the convenience of guests, a lift to the track is provided, which will be comfortable even for small children.

Restaurant

On the territory of the base, there is a beautiful and cozy restaurant where you can refuel during or after skiing. A friendly atmosphere, delicious dishes, and pleasant music will help you relax after strenuous physical activity. The chefs are happy to offer you various dishes from both European and Asian cuisines, from the simplest to the most exquisite. All dishes are prepared from environmentally friendly, carefully selected products, and the menu is designed to more than compensate for the calories you lose while skiing.

In the evenings, you can enjoy live music, and on holidays, the staff organizes entertainment events to which all visitors are invited. The restaurant can also host banquets for friends, relatives, or colleagues for any significant occasion.

Hotels and Cottages

At the Orlovka ski base, comfortable 2- and 3-bed rooms equipped with a bathroom and toilet are available. All rooms have satellite TV and heating with underfloor heating. If you book a room for a day or more, breakfast is provided free of charge. The base also has a banquet hall and a restaurant. We also recommend visiting (by prior reservation) the fireplace room, where you will spend your evening in a cozy, homely atmosphere.

Rental of Skis and Snowboards

Learning to ski on the latest models of skis or snowboards is much more enjoyable, easier, and exciting. All equipment is carefully monitored for quality and is periodically updated. In the rental, you can also have your own equipment serviced, as the technicians have the most modern European equipment and years of experience in restoring the sliding surface, tuning, and adjusting skis and snowboards.

If you are new to skiing or want to elevate your technical level, you can also arrange for individual lessons with an instructor in the "rental" building.
