Amanakan Kenjebaev has been appointed as the authorized representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Osh region. This information was provided by the information policy department of the presidential office.
The decree on the appointment was signed by Sadyr Japarov in accordance with Article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Previously, Elchibek Jantayev was relieved of his duties as representative and now holds the position of director of the State Agency for State Service and Local Self-Government.
Before his appointment, Kenjebaev served as a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the VII convocation and previously held the position of akim of the Sokuluk district. He also participated in the early parliamentary elections as a candidate from constituency No. 19.
