On November 5, President Sadyr Japarov arrived in the United States at the invitation of his American counterpart Donald Trump. This was reported in a press release from the information policy department of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
The plane with Japarov landed at Andrews Air Force Base, where he was met by Paul Kapoor, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, as well as other high-ranking officials.
At the meeting, a guard of honor was formed, holding the flags of both countries, and a red carpet was laid out.During his visit, President Japarov will participate in a meeting of the heads of state in the "C5+1" format. This event is timed to the tenth anniversary of the "C5+1" dialogue format and aims to discuss issues of cooperation development between Central Asia and the United States.
A bilateral meeting between Sadyr Japarov and Donald Trump is also planned.
