

At the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov, a ceremonial meeting was held today in honor of the Day of the Epic "Manas".
According to the Ministry of Culture, among those present were State Secretary Arslan Koychiev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Soyuzbek Nadybekov, Presidential Advisor Marat Imankulov, and other officials.
Arslan Koychiev noted that the epic "Manas" is one of the greatest oral works filled with deep philosophical meanings. He emphasized that the care for its preservation and dissemination is an inherent duty of every state. The State Secretary added that this epic will always be a symbol of unity, freedom, and spiritual identity of the Kyrgyz people.
Soyuzbek Nadybekov also spoke about state and public initiatives aimed at popularizing the epic and developing the art of manaschy.
During the event, awards were presented to the winners of the "Zharatman Manaschy" competition. Supporting the epic "Manas" and its performers is a priority of the state's cultural policy. The aim of today's event was to continue the work of preserving this heritage and passing it on to future generations.
