Imankulov Belek
Candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, distinguished health worker of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1940. Graduated from the Moscow Geological Exploration Institute named after S. Ordzhonikidze. Currently works as the head of the laboratory of hydromineral resources.
A well-known researcher-scientist, whose participation initiated research at the intersection of Earth sciences, pharmacy, and medicine, demonstrating the role of non-metallic mineral resources of Kyrgyzstan, which are not in demand by producers, in creating a multi-format industrial sector through the development of formulations and technologies for producing competitive products in the global market and import-substituting finished products from them. He substantiated a new scientific and practical direction - geochemistry and technology of non-metallic mineral resources in pharmacy and medicine using modern methods, most importantly, without harming the environment.
He is the author-initiator of the "Clean Water" project, participated in the development and adoption of the Laws "On Resort Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic" and "On the Protection of Intellectual Property of the Kyrgyz Republic," and is a three-time laureate of the Kyrgyzpatent competitions (1996, 1997, 1999, etc.).
Approximately 140 scientific works have been published, including 9 monographs, 1 hydrogeomelioration map in the Atlas of the Kyrgyz Republic, 5 technical specifications, and 4 pharmacopoeial articles on raw materials and finished products, 2 experimental-industrial regulations, and 1 technological instruction for the production of medicinal preparations. He is the author of 8 inventions.
For the first time, he organized the production of medicinal and therapeutic-cosmetic products, which have no analogs in the world in terms of quality and therapeutic efficacy, co-authored with personal funds based on three of the eight inventions.
