Ismanzhanov Anvarzhan Ismanzhanovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1948. Graduated from the Osh State Pedagogical Institute in 1970.
From 1970 to 1972, he worked as a research intern at the aforementioned institute. From December 1974 to December 1986, he worked as an engineer, senior engineer, and head of the sector at the Scientific and Production Association "Akadempribor" of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Since September 1999, he has been working at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University (KUU) in positions such as Dean of the Faculty of "Energy and Information Systems," Director of the Engineering and Energy Institute, and since November 2005, as Rector. Currently, he is the Dean of the Engineering and Energy Faculty and concurrently the Head of the "Energy" Department at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University.
He is also the Director of the Scientific and Production Association "Alterenergo" at KUU. He has repeatedly been on scientific missions to universities in the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, Germany, Austria, and Italy.
A prominent specialist in the field of solar energy.
Awarded with a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic, a Certificate of Honor from the Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Certificates of Honor from the regional state administration and the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He has published over 250 scientific works, 14 educational and methodological manuals, and is the author of 37 inventions.
Under his supervision, 6 candidate dissertations have been defended.
