Letter from the Commander of the Siberian Corps N.G. Ogarev to the Hero Batyr Tynaybiyev

LETTER FROM THE COMMANDER OF THE SIBERIAN CORPS N. G. OGAREV TO THE HERO ATAKE-BATYR TYNAYBIEV ON HIS AWARD OF 800 RUBLES BY EMPRESS CATHERINE II
Omsk Fortress, June 15, 1788.
To the Most Illustrious and Sovereign Empress Catherine Alexeyevna, Autocrat of All Russia, and so on, and so forth, to the esteemed chief Etike Bagatur. In October of last year, 1787, I sent you, esteemed elder, a letter notifying you that from Her Imperial Majesty the Most Gracious Sovereign, 800 rubles in silver coins had been sent to you as an award, and I requested that you send a reliable person to receive them. However, I have not received any notification from you regarding this matter. Now, as it has happened that this Tatar messenger has been released to gather the distributed debt from the Kyrgyz, I ask you, esteemed elder, to inform me whether you are well and if you have received my previous letter, and to send a recipient for the money. Also, please ensure that the Tatar is not left without your care and escort in case of necessity, for which I will be indebted to you, and I remain with my goodwill towards you.
From Her Imperial Majesty the Autocrat of All Russia, my Most Gracious Sovereign, General-Poruchik of the Siberian Dragoon Regiment, Chief of the Order of St. Anna, and Commander of the Siberian Corps.
