- On November 13, 2025, at the international border crossing point, specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Krasnoyarsk Territory completed the processing of a batch of 565 decorative birds, including budgerigars, cockatiels, ring-necked parakeets, and lovebirds. These birds were delivered by air from the village of Kashkar-Kyshtak, located in Kyrgyzstan, according to information from Rosselkhoznadzor.

This batch of birds fully complied with all veterinary and sanitary requirements established by both the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union.

“The cargo is intended for an individual entrepreneur who plans to breed and keep these birds in Krasnoyarsk. All birds will be placed in specially prepared conditions, where they will undergo mandatory quarantine under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor and the regional veterinary service. During the quarantine, necessary diagnostic studies and preventive treatments will be conducted,” the official release states.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of 2025, this is already the 16th batch of decorative birds delivered from Kyrgyzstan, bringing the total number imported to Krasnoyarsk to 11,800 heads.
