Rosselkhoznadzor monitored the import of food products from a number of countries, including Kyrgyzstan

In the first ten months of 2025, the Krasnoyarsk Territory branch of the Rosselkhoznadzor conducted control over the import of more than 109.9 thousand tons and 50.1 thousand units of plant products. This was reported by the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Of the total import volume, 64.3 thousand tons were fruits from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. This list included products such as watermelons, melons, apricots, pomelos, pears, grapes, peaches, apples, and bananas. Vegetables accounted for 41.1 thousand tons, including peppers, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, onions, zucchini, radishes, and radishes, also from the mentioned countries. In addition, 4.4 thousand tons of malt were imported from Belarus and Kazakhstan, 82.4 tons of cotton fiber from Uzbekistan, as well as 23.7 tons of green crops from Kazakhstan and Armenia, including mint, basil, parsley, dill, and cilantro. Additionally, 4 tons of paper and cardboard were imported from China and 50.1 thousand flower cuts from Thailand and China, including orchids, alstroemerias, and roses.

During phytosanitary control, 324 cases of quarantine objects were detected, including red palm weevil, mulberry scale, California scale, Comstock mealybug, western flower thrips, four-spotted grain weevil, dodder, South American tomato moth, eastern fruit moth, melon fly, tomato brown rugose fruit virus, and brown monilial rot.

Necessary phytosanitary measures were taken regarding the identified contaminated products.
