The deadlines for the agricultural census in Kyrgyzstan have been postponed.

According to information from the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the dates for the agricultural census in Kyrgyzstan have been changed and are now scheduled from March 20 to April 10, 2026.

Previously, in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 122, the census was planned for 2025.

This event, which takes place once every ten years, is an important statistical event for the country, aimed at collecting complete, accurate, and reliable data on the state and structure of agriculture. The results obtained will be used to form effective agricultural policy, ensure food security, and promote sustainable development in rural areas.

As a result of the census, data will be collected based on the following criteria:Preparatory organizational and methodological work began in 2024, and pilot activities have already been conducted in two regions. It is expected that the census will be completed in March 2026.
