- In Kyrgyzstan, the harvest for the year 2025 has currently been completed, with 98-99% of all agricultural crops collected. This was reported on the air by Turat Idirisov, head of the Department of Crop Production, Horticulture, and Cooperation of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

As noted by Idirisov, the season was challenging due to high temperatures and a lack of moisture, which negatively affected the yield of rain-fed lands. While the harvest of wheat and barley decreased compared to last year, the indicators for most other crops remained stable.

He also reported high results for some vegetables and fruits. For example, in the Talas region, the yield of peppers reached 25 tons per hectare, in the Chuy region, carrots yielded 70-73 centners, and some farmers harvested up to 90 centners. In the Naryn region, the potato yield was 35-40 centners.

The Ministry also noted that the harvest of sugar beets is nearing completion, with this year's yield ranging from 380 to 450 centners per hectare. Although this figure is lower than last year due to spring frosts, Idirisov emphasized that the country will be able to fully meet its sugar needs thanks to existing reserves and the new harvest.

Additionally, he reported on the expansion of the pilot project "3+2," under which ministry specialists provide support to farmers at all stages—from sowing to harvesting—offering consultations and technical recommendations.

In 2025, the project was scaled up to include a larger number of farms.
