On December 8, the National Bank, together with the Association of Legal Entities "Alliance of Exchange Offices," held a seminar for employees of exchange offices.
According to information from the regulator, the seminar focused on compliance with the key requirements of the regulations of the National Bank and the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic concerning the prevention of the financing of criminal activities and the legalization (laundering) of proceeds obtained through criminal means.
Representatives of exchange offices and the Alliance participated in the seminar. During the event, the main requirements of legislation and regulations, necessary measures to reduce risks, as well as issues related to filling out statistical reports and questionnaires on AML/CFT for exchange offices were discussed.
