Over 40 billion soms allocated to the agro-industrial complex in 2026 – Torobaev

During the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev announced that over 40 billion soms will be allocated to the agro-industrial sector of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2026.

He emphasized that such measures are aimed at ensuring the quality and timely conduct of spring fieldwork, as well as supporting farmers. For these purposes, the Cabinet of Ministers is implementing state programs and projects funded from the budget.

According to the minister, for the year 2026, it is planned to allocate: 6 billion soms from the republican budget, 1.5 billion soms from a special account, 11 billion soms from state investment projects, 14.3 billion soms within the framework of capital investments, and 9.3 billion soms from seven state support programs.
