In the Kyzyl-Oktyabr rural district, located in the Kemin region of the Chui region, lives the married couple Adylbek Abdyldaev and Shayirkul Toktonazarova. Their life together spans over fifty years.

Adylbek Abdyldaev, born on January 1, 1949, in the village of Zhany-Alysh, grew up in a family of a collective farm worker. His wife, Shayirkul, was born on November 26, 1953, in the village of Svetlaya Polyana, located in the Jeti-Oguz region of the Issyk-Kul region.

The couple tied the knot in 1973. “We were young and studying at the institute. One day, I went with friends to the Kyrgyz Women's Pedagogical Institute named after V. Mayakovsky to meet girls. They sometimes held dances there. During one of those evenings, I accidentally stepped on a girl's foot, and she, unable to hold back, scolded me: ‘Collective farmer, watch where you step...’ I apologized, and after we started talking, that’s how our story began. We didn’t have any lavish weddings — we simply went to Shayirkul's parents and read the ‘nikah’, and that’s how we became husband and wife,” he recalls.

The couple raised three children: two sons and a daughter, and they have become proud grandparents to 12 grandchildren. “I would like to address the youth with a call to show patience. If conflicts arise, it’s important not to give in to emotions, but to step outside to calm down, and then return to continue the conversation. Respect for each other is fundamental. We also had disagreements, but we always knew how to forgive. Young people sometimes escalate conflicts too quickly, sometimes leading to divorces. It’s important to listen to the elders and learn from their experiences,” shares Adylbek.

In his professional life, Adylbek worked for many years in agriculture. He received the title of "Excellence in Agriculture" and was elected several times as a deputy of the local kenesh. He actively participates in community life, is a member of the Council of Elders, and leads an active lifestyle.

Studying at the Faculty of Agronomy of the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute from 1970 to 1975, he later worked as a junior researcher at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute, and then held various positions in collective farms and state farms, including chief agronomist and secretary of the party committee.

From 1980 to 2008, Adylbek was repeatedly elected as a deputy at various levels, including the Zhany-Alysh and Kichi-Kemin rural keneshes. He is currently an active participant in public foundations and a delegate to two People's Kurultais.

Shayirkul Toktonazarova, for her part, studied at the Kyrgyz Women's Pedagogical Institute named after V. Mayakovsky from 1973 to 1977 at the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature. She worked for 35 years as a teacher of Russian language and literature in the schools of Samansur and Zhany-Alysh, and also held the position of deputy director of the school.
For her pedagogical work, Toktonazarova was awarded the medal "Excellence in Public Education" and other awards at the district and regional levels.
