According to information provided by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences, the epicenter of the seismic activity was recorded on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 12 km northeast of the village of Ravat, as well as 17 km northeast of the village of Leilek, 17 km northwest of Uch-Dobo, and 17 km west of Ak-Tatyr. The distance to Batken is 48 km to the southwest.
The intensity of the earthquake in various settlements was as follows: in Ravat — about 3.5 points, in Leilek, Uch-Dobo, and Ak-Tatyr — 3 points.
Preliminary information does not report any casualties or damage as a result of the incident.
