Baktiyar Orozov, who previously held the position of Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation, has been detained in Kyrgyzstan. According to sources, officers from the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs caught him driving under the influence of alcohol.
The incident occurred in the village of Koy-Tash on the night of December 15, when officers from the Traffic Police of the Chui region stopped his vehicle. During a medical examination, the presence of alcohol in Orozov's blood was confirmed, and he admitted to consuming two mugs of beer.
