— do not leave burning stoves unattended and do not entrust their lighting to children;
— do not use gasoline, kerosene, and other flammable liquids when lighting stoves;
— stop using stoves 2–3 hours before going to sleep;
— store firewood and coal at a safe distance from stoves;
— when using electrical devices, only use certified and functioning factory equipment;
— do not use homemade electric heaters;
— do not overload the electrical network, and avoid using sockets and extension cords whenever possible.
Adhering to these measures will help reduce the risk of fires and ensure safety during the winter period.
