According to data provided by the agency, the material damage from the fires amounted to more than 2 million soms. Most incidents occurred in residential houses and on farms where livestock is kept.
Since the beginning of this year, 542 fires have been recorded in the region, causing damage exceeding 137 million soms. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of firefighters and rescuers, losses amounting to over 1.5 billion soms were prevented.
This year, 7 people have died as a result of fires, and 9 citizens have sustained various injuries.
