The agency's data emphasizes that fires caused by electrical equipment issues pose a serious threat that can cause significant damage to both human lives and property. Recently, there has been a sharp increase in such incidents in both apartment buildings and private homes.
According to statistics, there were 3,388 recorded cases of fires in the republic during the specified period, with most of them occurring due to violations in the use of electrical equipment. The main causes of fires include:
- worn or damaged wiring;
- improper installation of electrical systems;
- overloading of electrical networks;
- use of low-quality or cheap materials;
- incorrect choice of circuit breakers;
- short circuits.
In addition, the agency plans to issue recommendations on the proper connection and operation of electrical appliances in future explanatory materials.
