According to information from the press service of the Osh city police, the event was aimed at preventing illegal trade and use of pyrotechnics.
Employees of the city internal affairs department, together with representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, conducted special raids at retail outlets. During these inspections, sellers were informed about the rules for the sale and use of pyrotechnic products, and appropriate warnings were issued.
Improper or illegal handling of pyrotechnics can lead to serious consequences, including fires, severe injuries, loss of vision, and burns, as well as damage to residential and commercial buildings. Such products pose a particular threat to children.
The main objective of these activities is to ensure the safety of citizens, prevent injuries and fires, as well as other dangerous situations arising from the use of poor-quality or illegal pyrotechnics.
Similar campaigns are planned to continue until the New Year.
