On December 1, in the village of Petrovka in the Moscow district, during a raid, employees of the Chui Regional Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, in cooperation with representatives of the Kalinin Interdistrict Society of Hunters, discovered a case of illegal hunting.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, a smoothbore shotgun IZH-18 E caliber 20 was seized from the detainee, which was used without the necessary permits.

The violator was fined 10,000 soms under Article 261 of the Code of Offenses, which pertains to illegal hunting and the extraction of wildlife.

The seized firearm was handed over to the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs, where it was registered in accordance with established regulations.

The Ministry of Natural Resources reported that, in connection with the fact of illegal storage and use of the weapon, a criminal case may be initiated, according to police officers.
