In the Osh region, construction sites have been discovered that were built with serious violations of the current construction norms of Kyrgyzstan, according to information provided by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan.
The special service found that design organizations and construction companies used schemes to submit knowingly false information in the project and estimate documentation. This concerned the provision of parking spaces for residents, based on which construction projects for residential complexes received approval from the responsible officials of the architecture department of the city of Osh.
Construction companies, aiming for financial gain, built commercial facilities, even though they were obliged to provide residents with the necessary parking spaces.
Officials in the architecture department of the city of Osh, who were supposed to facilitate the development of urban infrastructure and create comfortable conditions for residents, practically entered into a preliminary conspiracy with representatives of construction companies.
These actions led to systematic violations of Kyrgyzstan's legislation in the field of urban planning, which, in turn, caused delays in construction, dissatisfaction among shareholders, worsening traffic conditions, the formation of traffic jams on the roads, and additional strain on urban infrastructure.
Based on the collected materials, the GKNB initiated a criminal case, within the framework of which the first deputy chief architect of the city of Osh "T.Y.K." and a specialist in the architecture of the city of Osh "T.Z.M." were detained and placed in custody.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of the initiated criminal case aimed at uncovering corruption crimes in the field of urban planning in the city of Osh.
