The Bishkek city administration announced the first trial delivery of solid household waste (SHW) to the new waste processing station.
High-ranking officials participated in the event, including the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, Meder Mashiev, and the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev.
As part of the test launch, 17 units of special equipment made one trip each, delivering a total of 126 tons of SHW. Once the volume of waste reaches 1,000 tons, the disposal process will begin, allowing for electricity generation.
Mayor Aibek Junushaliev also inspected the site, familiarizing himself with the construction process and the setup of the equipment.
The construction of the plant is currently nearing completion, with the opening scheduled for December 26, 2025.

This project is being implemented under the agreement signed in November 2023 between Aibek Junushaliev and the General Director of Junxin Company, Dai Daoguo. On March 29, 2024, a "time capsule" was laid with the participation of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investments in the project were approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 113 dated March 28, 2024, with a total amount of 95 million US dollars.
