The III Asian Youth Games 2025 will be held in Manama (Bahrain) from October 22 to 31, 2025.

At the competition, ERKHES Enkhtur took second place in the 50-meter backstroke, achieving a time of 25.98 seconds. The first position was taken by Chan Tedd from Singapore with a time of 25.79, while the bronze medal was won by Chang Kai Yue from Taiwan, who clocked 26.17.

Backstroke (back crawl) is a swimming style in which the athlete is on their back, and the arms perform alternating stroke movements, while the legs execute continuous up-and-down motions. Unlike freestyle, straight arms are used to carry above the water.
