In the Sokuluk district, within the Manas rural area, an environmental study was conducted by specialists from the Chui Regional Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan.
During the study, two cases of illegal waste disposal were identified:
* In the area of an abandoned duck farm, a spontaneous dump was found, containing both household and biological waste.
* In the northern part of the rural area, a waste dumping site was recorded, likely related to the operations of sewing workshops. According to available information, this site has periodically caught fire, and the amount of accumulated waste turned out to be significant.
Both cases were analyzed based on previously provided remarks. The materials have been forwarded to the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service for further action. Research in this region is ongoing.
