Recent data indicates a possible connection between Dashzevge and the so-called "coal case." In light of these circumstances, representatives of the Democratic Party are demanding that he temporarily step down from his position until the investigation is completed.
Amid the unfolding scandal, the former speaker resigned and was suspended from his duties on Friday, October 17, 2025. It has now become known that a criminal case has been opened against him on corruption charges.
In connection with these events, the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs Enkhbayar Battumur published a statement on his X page: "The investigative authorities have provided clarifications. Former speaker of the parliament and deputy Amarbayasgalan has been charged in accordance with the laws on corruption crimes. It is recommended to obtain more detailed information from the prosecutor's office."
