Kamchybek Tashiev, on behalf of the president, familiarized himself with the working situation on Chuy Avenue in Bishkek, as reported by the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Discussions on social media concerned the construction of new commercial facilities, parking lots, and public transport stops near the "TSUM" and "GUM" shopping centers on Chuy Avenue.
Following the on-site inspection, Tashiev quickly issued an order to dismantle the structures that narrowed the roadway, as well as the stops along the road. He also instructed the Ministry of Construction and the city administration to promptly restore the road surface, which is of great importance for traffic flow in the capital, and to improve conditions for residents.
The construction company agreed to take responsibility for restoring the road and organizing the infrastructure, promising to complete the work in the shortest possible time.
