Today, at the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov, the Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Chairman of the GKNB conducted an inspection of construction works on Chuy Avenue. Recently, social media has been actively discussing the emergence of commercial facilities, parking lots, and bus stops along the TSUM and GUM, which, according to citizens, has led to a narrowing of the roadway and worsened traffic conditions.

At the scene, Tashiev ordered the immediate dismantling of structures and pavilions along the road. He also instructed the Ministry of Construction, as well as the city administration and other responsible agencies, to quickly restore the road surface and ensure comfortable conditions for the movement of the capital's residents.
The construction company confirmed that it is ready to take on the obligations of restoring the road and bringing the adjacent infrastructure into order in the shortest possible time.
Construction works in the center of Bishkek have long been causing dissatisfaction among residents. Locals remind that the new facilities being built along the avenue previously housed flowerbeds and a pedestrian zone.
