On November 23, issues with the toilets at School No. 37 in Bishkek were resolved, which had caused difficulties for students in using them.

Last weekend, a video appeared on social media in which students called on President Sadyr Japarov to pay attention to the conditions at their educational institution. In response, Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva, along with representatives from the Department of Education, the district administration, school management, and the parent committee, visited the site of the incident.

During the inspection, it was found that the water leak issue was temporary and had occurred only for one day due to a blockage in the sewage system. The claim that the situation had persisted for a month was not confirmed, as confirmed by the students and their parents.

All identified deficiencies were addressed promptly. According to the city hall, the blockage was completely eliminated, and doors were installed in the men's restroom that had been removed by the previous administration due to frequent breakages. Additionally, frosted film was applied to the windows of the sanitary facilities to ensure privacy. Currently, the toilets and other sanitary areas are functioning normally.

It is worth noting that in August of this year, the capital's schools No. 37 and No. 14 were merged.
