Local residents, including youth, expressed their opinions in response to the conflict at School No. 7, related to allegations of systematic violence against 9th-grade students by high school seniors.

According to one youth representative, the information disseminated by Maria Tsareva on social media is one-sided.

“There are many inaccurate facts in her statements, which has caused a wide resonance and negatively affected the reputation of our village, which has become known in recent days. Many commentators on social media do not know the whole truth and leave negative reviews. We decided to speak out, as our village has always had friendly relations, and now the residents are divided. We call for a fair resolution. Currently, both those who are genuinely involved in the situation and those who are completely innocent are under fire. Parents are being called in during working hours, which creates inconvenience. Also, the video about alleged intimidation and about people gathering at her door after 6 PM is not true. That did not happen. This is our first time gathering for this appeal, and we ask for an impartial review,” said one participant.

Village residents also noted that the information being spread is not true. “We have not had anything like this. We do not believe it. Our children and residents, in general, are very friendly. We hope that the situation will be resolved peacefully,” shared the opinion of one man.

Another resident emphasized that the video contains information that does not correspond to reality. “This is not true. They are just tarnishing the kids' reputation. We have lived here together for a long time and know each other. Incorrect data is being published, and we call for a fair resolution,” he added.

It is worth noting that Maria Tsareva claimed that there is a "system" in the school controlled by two 11th-grade students and six 10th-grade students. According to her, they have systematically been beating 9th-grade students for a year and a half. The information became known in September when the mother of one of the students, living in Moscow, reached out to her. Other facts were presented at a parents' meeting at the school.

Furthermore, the mother of one of the mentioned 11th graders told Kaktus.media that her son is not involved in such actions.

The Main Department of Internal Affairs of Karakol has initiated a criminal case under Article 208 "Extortion" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
