Until recently, this site housed commercial establishments, the leases of which were terminated on September 25, 2025. After that, work began on the demolition of trading pavilions and landscaping the area, carried out by municipal services according to the relevant plan.
Currently, a metal fence has been installed at the site. The organization "Bishkekzelenstroy" is actively engaged in landscaping and comprehensive improvement.
The Akimat noted that some entrepreneurs refuse to vacate the municipal land voluntarily.
“This area has been used by businessmen for over 20 years. By the mayor's order, one-third of the site has been vacated, and this part is fully ready for landscaping. However, the completion of tree planting is hindered by the need to demolish the remaining structures, as some entrepreneurs are resisting,” the Akimat stated.
Additionally, information is circulating on social media that the vacated area will allegedly be handed over to acquaintances or relatives of city hall employees for the placement of trading facilities. However, this information is false. The site is only undergoing landscaping and improvement work aimed at expanding the space around the school, enhancing the safety of children, and creating a comfortable environment for all city residents,” the message added.
The Akimat emphasized that despite the ignoring of notifications and obstacles from some businessmen, the work on vacating the land and its improvement will continue.
According to the district administration, 6 structures belonging to four tenants have been demolished at the Chuy-Gogol site. Currently, 7 structures remain, belonging to three tenants. Three of them have been reissued notifications regarding the necessity of voluntary demolition.
