At the phytosanitary control post "Kyzyl-Kiya" on March 3, 2026, the import of 80,520 seedlings from Uzbekistan was prohibited after quarantine phytosanitary control.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan dated February 13, 2026, No. 103 "On the introduction of a temporary ban on the import of seedlings of fruit and berry crops into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic," the cargo was returned to the exporting country due to the absence of permitted varieties in this resolution.
