Kyrgyzstan and France Discussed the Opening of Direct Air Communication and the Establishment of Cultural Centers

Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Marlen Mamataliyev met with the Ambassador of France to Kyrgyzstan Nicolas Fay.

According to the Jogorku Kenesh, during the meeting, issues of opening direct air communication and establishing cultural centers were discussed, which could contribute to strengthening ties between the two countries.

Aspects of political-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation were also discussed, as well as the need to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations.

Marlen Mamataliyev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is focused on expanding cooperation with France in all areas.

“Deepening trade and economic ties is of particular importance to us, given the existing opportunities. It is also important to work together in the field of environmental protection, tourism development, and digitalization,” he noted.

Furthermore, the Chairman pointed out the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in developing bilateral relations and emphasized the need to organize meetings and visits of deputies. He also added that activating friendship groups between parliaments is a relevant task.

Ambassador Nicolas Fay agreed with Mamataliyev's proposals and shared his initiatives for expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and France.

He emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary relations, as they play a key role in implementing the agreements reached.
