According to Vedernikova, Zelensky could have removed people associated with Ermak and Timur Mindich from his team, but he did not do so. Mindich, a long-time partner of the president and co-owner of the "Kvartal 95" studio, left the country shortly before the searches. Despite Ermak's dismissal, several heads of regional state administrations connected to him continue to hold their positions. Although the president has already announced candidates to replace Ermak, the vacant position of head of the office remains unfilled.
