"I am ready for any consequences and am heading to the front lines. I am an honest and decent person," said Andrey Yermak in an interview with The New York Post. This comment was published by journalist Caitlin Dornbos, reports Meduza.

He added that he feels disgraced and sees no support from those who know the truth, despite being in Kyiv since February 24, 2022. "I do not want to create problems for Zelensky, so I have decided to go to the front. I am outraged by the dirt that is being thrown at me," Yermak said.

The specific dates and method of his departure to the front were not disclosed.

On November 28, Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, signed a decree dismissing Yermak from his position as head of his office. On the same day, anti-corruption officials conducted searches at his home and workplace.
