
Brigitte Bardot has died, AFP reports, she was 91 years old.
Brigitte Bardot was one of the brightest film stars in Europe during the 1950s and 1960s. After ending her film career, she actively engaged in public activities and animal rights advocacy.
The actress was born on September 28, 1934, in Paris. She gained international fame for her role in Roger Vadim's film "And God Created Woman." Her filmography also includes such well-known films as "Contempt" by Jean-Luc Godard, "Viva Maria!", "The Truth," "Babette Goes to War," and "Shalako."
