Bishkek Tops the Ranking of Cities with the Most Polluted Air

According to the air quality monitoring service, on November 6, Bishkek ranked first among cities with the highest level of pollution.

The concentration of PM2.5 — fine particles made up of solid substances and liquid droplets — reached 149 µg/m³, which classifies the air in the capital as "very harmful."

For reference: The World Health Organization recommends that the annual average level of PM2.5 should not exceed 5 µg/m³, and the daily average should not exceed 15 µg/m³.
