The cause of the emergency lies in the damage to the water pipeline that occurred on the night of November 13 due to the actions of a private construction company. As a result of this incident, the water supply was suspended in microdistricts No. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, as well as in "Yug-7" and the "Youth Quarter." Additionally, areas of the private sector below microdistricts No. 3 and 4, as well as Abay and Maldybaev streets (above Akhunbaev) were affected. In microdistrict No. 10, a decrease in water pressure was recorded.
The company responsible for the accident will cover all costs related to the consequences of the incident. Furthermore, the mayor of Bishkek has ordered that the materials of the incident be handed over to law enforcement agencies for further legal analysis.
