In the village of Meerkan, located in the city of Osh, a new kindergarten named "Meer" was opened on December 2. The facility underwent a major renovation and is ready to accept children.
Various officials participated in the opening ceremony, including the mayor of the city, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, and the deputy chairman of the city council, Niyazbek Nurbaev, as well as local residents.
Previously, this building was used as a branch of school No. 34 named after Ch. Tuloberdiev. After the school moved to a new building, the vacated premises were repurposed into a kindergarten by the decision of the mayor's office. The new institution can accommodate 100 children and consists of four groups that meet modern requirements.
"All rooms and internal restrooms in the kindergarten have been renovated. Additional toilets and a laundry room have been built on the premises, as well as a new fully equipped kitchen. The institution is provided with the necessary furniture," the mayor's office reports.
