High-ranking guests attended the official opening of the juvenile colony, including the Chairman of the State Penal Service Chyngyz Kozhoshev, his deputies, the representative of the President's Office Mirlan Apizov, the Deputy Prosecutor for oversight of compliance with laws in the penal system Abdibakyt Khamurzaev, as well as the head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata district and veterans of the penal system Askat Egemberdiev and Melis Turganbaev.
The State Penal Service notes that the updated facility, reconstructed over the past year, fully complies with modern safety standards and international requirements. The territory is equipped with 280 video cameras, a 4-meter security wall has been erected, and five observation towers have been built. In addition, various premises for staff have been provided, including an administrative block, a conference room, meeting rooms, a quarantine area, and a disciplinary isolation unit.
